Network marketing (sometimes called multi-level marketing (MLM)), via the Internet is going to become the main source of income for many over the next decade. You may have heard this story before, but over the summer Donald Trump made an appearance on the David Letterman show. Dave asked him what he would do if he lost everything and had to start over from scratch. Without hesitating, Trump said he would find a good network marketing company and get to work. The audience started to hoot and boo him. He looked out at the audience and dead-panned his response "That's why I'm sitting up here and you are all sitting out there!"

Multi-level marketing has finally gained respectability. It is being taught in the Harvard Business School, and both Stanford Research and the Wall Street Journal stated that between 50% and 65% of all goods and services will be sold through multi-level methods by the mid to late 1990's. This is a Multi-Billion Dollar industry and of the 500,000 millionaires in the U.S., 20% (100,000) made their fortune in the last several years in MLM. Moreover, statistics show 45 people become millionaires every day through Multi-Level Marketing. There is no greater tool for MLM than the Internet.

If your desire is to achieve financial freedom, there has never been a greater time than NOW! The Internet is new, its hot, and getting hotter! If you are serious about gaining financial freedom, you should by all means have the Internet in your home.

Like any decision, choosing to become a "netrepreneur" should be a careful one. Frivolous choices of product to market over the Internet will be a waste of time, and loss of potential income. Do not get involved in scams, chain letters, and other useless Internet activities. Hundreds of thousands of people are on the Internet trying to sell "get rich quick" schemes. This is a waste of time. Choose a company with a solid foundation to work with.

Since this is a relatively new job market, companies almost always offer training via the Internet. If you are not an experienced netrepreneur, you should study the materials until you become skillful at marketing, or your efforts will be a waste of time.

Many companies offer a replicating web site when joining their organization. This site is to be used to advertise the company' s product. Companies often charge a monthly fee to maintain the site. Membership fees or fees to host managing web sites range from $20 to $50 per month. It is suggested that if you choose a company that charges a fee, make sure that you can pay the fee via a monthly agreement. You can always quit without loosing any additional money.

Do not "job hop!" You will never make any money job hopping. You must choose a company and stick with it.Give each opportunity at least 6 months to determine if it can make money.
